Job Summary:

Primary responsibilities are to perform accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of apartments communities’ accounts payable transactions, recording resident cash receipts, and other accounting duties as assigned.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:






Qualifications and Education:

A high school education or equivalent is required.  At least one year of experience in property management is desired.   Knowledge of financial accounting software applications is preferred.  Excellent communication and organization skills are necessary.  The associate must be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

No certificates, licenses or registrations necessary for this position.


Working Environment:

To perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job an associate will be indoors most of the time, but will have frequent exposure to the outdoors in all weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.   Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
